More on web presence

I recently addressed a local business group. The objective was to explain how Delivra drives sales leads through web marketing. We prepared a short slide show accompanied by a video garnered from a book promo on You Tube.

The presentation was well received. Questions from the group were enlightening.

One gentleman offered his opinion that, "Email marketing is for business to consumer and not [appropriate] for business to business." Another asked, “Do you have email lists?" And a third exclaimed, "I'm exhausted!" after watching our carefully chosen video.

These seasoned business people, as a part of their group, are seeking thought leadership both in offering their experience and learning from others. They are not novices or one-person shows.

It struck me that managing a successful business in today's technology-driven web environment is more complicated than ever. Demanding a plethora of skills and team of professionals driven to succeed with best of breed competitors.

The alternative is stagnation or even failure.  Lee Iacocca said it best, "Lead, follow or get out of the way."
